Master's Degree in New Media - Student Investigation Projects
Experimenting with sound to create imagery, as well as using objects to translate into sound in novel ways.
PROJECT I
In this project, the sound spectrum is divided in RGB ranges - lows, mids, highs. Then, a soundtrack is translated via radio into colors into a matrix, which is then projected on screen.
Project II
This project focused on the creation of abstract shapes in acrylic boards, that would then be mounted on rotors, and light would project through these shapes, combining into a multiple projection on the wall.
Project III
This project was still in early stages. The aim was to extract different sounds using these shapes and volumes with an electrical connection.
